Photographic centre Nykyaika will hold it`s 5th triennial international photography event.	We invite photographers and media-artists from all over Europe to start a visual and open-minded dialogue on views and visions of contemporary life. We intend to exhibit contributions during the whole of 1999. Contributions can be in any form of classic photography, but we also ask for videoimages, installations and computer-based-visual-arrangements.	Expected Materials: BACKLIGHT will offer a wide space for reportages and new documentary, for symbol production, icons of subcultural identity, philosophy, politics poems and of course: IMAGES FOR OUR VISUAL DIALOGUE
