The Finnish press photo of the year 2007 is announced in TR1 on March. The exhibition produced by the Finnish Press photographers association, media museum Rupriikki and Photographic Centre Nykyaika is piled up from the winner pictures and the challengers.

Backlight 2008 – Tickle Attack
In Tampere, the home town of the Backlight 08 main organiser Photographic Centre Nykyaika, the exhibition is shared by several facilities and galleries. The exhibition spaces include exhibition hall TR1 and Museum Center Vapriikki, Mältinranta Art Centre, Galleries Rajatila and Werstas as well as the Voipaala Art Centre in Valkeakoski. The Finlayson factory area will be the heart of the exhibition in Tampere.
